ROBIN HEATH TALK – IAN PEGLER

On Sunday the 27th of January we held our first indoor meeting of the year. We were given a presentation by the well known author Robin Heath on the subject of “Power-points Old and New”. Some of the material presented is covered in his book “Powerpoints: Secret Rulers and Hidden Forces in the Landscape” published by Bluestone Press. As a somewhat prolific writer Robin had many of his books on special offer for all those who attended the talk – which he autographed.

Robin recapped the history of “Earth Mysteries” beginning with the rediscovery of landscape alignments by Alfred Watkins, who christened them “leys” (not “ley-lines” which Robin pointed out was a “hippie invention”). The traditional “markers” for these lines as defined by Watkins tend to have a religious or ceremonial purpose, such as churches and stone circles. These can be thought of as “power-generators” in the spiritual sense, however, Robin has discovered that over the centuries these alignments have been re-used to site different kinds of power-generators including buildings relating to fiscal, political, governmental, military, coal and nuclear power  Robin has discovered that geometrical relationships exist which relate different power centres. For example Cardiff, Edinburgh and London form a 5:12:13 right-angled triangle, familiar to students of Pythagoras.

In all, a fascinating and occasionally disturbing talk.

REVERSE ENERGY CIRCLE  -  SANDY MATHER

Given the great interest shown by members we decided to do it ourselves. Following directions given by Ros Briagha (Secretary) we formed a circle and held hands.  Then after settling ourselves, we visualised the energy moving around the circle in a clockwise direction. Ros suggested we ‘saw’ the energy travelling up our right arm, across our chest, through our heart chakra and down our left arm into the next person’s hand and so on around the circle. Some reported feeling warmth, ‘electricity or vibrations travelling through them. We then changed to an anti-clockwise direction and sent the energy in the opposite direction. Again members reported feeling quite powerful changes. During all this time we had our eyes closed and at a certain point Ros dropped one hand and broke the circle. Several of us felt the change almost immediately. For most, it was a very powerful and illuminating exercise. Then at Ros’s suggestion we joined hands again and visualised a beautiful ball of glowing green energy in the centre of the circle, which we then gently lowered into the ground. Sending our love to Mother Earth.  A wonderfully uplifting exercise – thank you Ros!

Talk by  JOHN SEWARD  “Dowsing for Health”

Our talk in February was given by our Chairman John Seward.  The talk was originally to have been by Ros Briagha but due to unforeseen circumstances it was decided that John would speak on ‘Dowsing for Health’ and Ros will take his slot in October.  John began his talk on the subject of Geopathic Stress.  Geopathic Stress (GS) is the name given to natural or man-made energies emanating from the earth, which are detrimental to human health.  These are caused by the movement of the Earth’s tectonic plates causing disturbances in the Earth’s magnetic field.  This is happening all the time and man has adapted to it but these movements are becoming more frequent and exposure to long-term stress can result in a variety of health conditions and a reduction in the ability to heal.  He asked us to be aware that waking in the morning after a restless night and general feeling of listlessness etc. could be a result of GS.  Apparently women can be more susceptible to certain types of geopathic stress due to vibrations with their ovaries causing hormonal imbalances.  Examples of things that can cause GS can include disturbances caused by underground water (running or blocked), natural, geological structures such as mineral deposits and man-made manufacturing such as mines, large buildings, drainage pipes etc.  There is also electro-magnetic pollution caused by cables, phone masts,  generating stations and even in our own homes we are subject to harmful emissions from TV’s and microwaves etc.

John then went on to describe how we can detect these negative energies by dowsing.  He suggested that we dowse the outside of our properties first.  Using either a pendulum or dowsing rods we can ask whether there is any geopathic stress around our homes.  For those that are new to this, you have to formulate your questions in such a way that you can get a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ answer.  If you have a ‘Yes’ answer then you proceed to discover where the negative energy line is, then find out how wide it is.  By placing an ordinary quartz crystal (it needn’t be an expensive one) you can then block the flow into your house.  If it’s a wide line you can place a crystal either side of the line for best effect.  You can also dowse for negative energy inside your houses.  For example you may have sleepless nights because your bed is situated on one of these lines.  Moving it to another area could regain you your beauty sleep!

John also talked about the importance of taking responsibility for our own health.  Don’t just blindly go by what the medical professionals tell you.  If you are prescribed a course of medication then dowse to see whether these tablets will help or hinder your healing process.  If you get a negative answer go back to the doctor and ask if there is anything else you can take.  In fact, it was very important to dowse for anything and everything we eat or drink to see if it’s beneficial to us.  For ‘we are what we eat!’  It was also important to remember that although we get a ‘Yes’ answer for coffee one day, the next day due to changes going on in our body, it might not be helpful.  John said that he often dowses for his food before he buys and consumes it; the only problem is the time it takes.

Towards the end of his talk John described the energy centres in the body known as chakras and how it was important to dowse them frequently to check that they were balanced and working properly.  Blocked chakras can be an indication of health problems before the symptoms are noticed in the physical body.  Members were given a demonstration of how to dowse the chakras and to pass the rods over a person’s body to discover where health problems might lie.  After tea we all had a chance to practise these skills on one another as the cover and below photos show.  Thank you John for a fascinating and illuminating talk.
LIBRARY
Ros, our secretary, was amazed to see one of our library books in a local car boot sale recently.  Members are cordially requested to check if they still have any books belonging to our Library in their possession.  It has been noted that the amount of books has reduced greatly from the days of meetings at Trinity College
